The clear 4' x 8' VersaMAT® Ground Protection Mat with hand holes and one smooth side, model CV48S1HH8, has the highest load barding capacity on the market, while its low-profile slip-resistant traction surface makes it ideal for pedestrian applications.
The VersaMAT line was developed to be a more multi-functional ground protection mat for use where a user is looking for the additional benefit of a walking or standing/working surface with a heavy load capacity for construction equipment. This mat is truly versatile, featuring the aggressive AlturnaMAT® tread on one side and a smooth surface on the other side. With a load capacity of 120 tons*, the VersaMAT can also be used as a vehicle track way, vehicle parking area, or staging area for supplies and equipment.
Weighing just 86 lbs (39 kg), VersaMAT model CV48S1HH8 can be easily deployed by hand, and features hand holes for easy carrying and placing on site. VersaMAT is manufactured from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene, making it durable and resistant to all weather conditions. The translucent mat lets the sun to shine through it while in use, preventing the browning of grass – suitable for golf courses, resorts, homes and cemeteries.
VersaMAT has a flexible construction that allows the mat to follow the contours of the ground delivering a highly effective access solution on sloping or undulating ground conditions. VersaMAT can be connected together using our flat Turn-A-Links connectors to ensure a firm and secure trackway.
