Easy Rider® 4 ft speed bump, model GNRS2411YB reduces vehicle speeds to approximately 2-5 MPH, making parking lots or light traffic streets safer for pedestrians and motorists. Constructed from 100% recycled rubber tires, Easy Rider® speed bumps are pre-formed to ensure a smooth, safe ride. Its flexible design conforms to the contour of virtually any road surface, and it will not chip, crack, fade, crumble, rot or deteriorate. Channeled bottom helps facilitate drainage as well as cover cabling or piping.
This speed bump has dimensions of 12 in W x 48 in L x 2.25 in H and a maximum weight capacity of 40,000 lbs. Its brittleness factors in at -40F without change. Weathering 70 hours at more than 150 F, it retained initial hardness, compressive strength, tensile strength and elongation.
In-molded reflective tape and cat’s eye reflectors enhance the speed bumps visibility at night warning drivers and pedestrians well in advance. Easy Rider® speed bumps are the ideal maintenance-free parking lot solution. In addition to enhancing parking lot safety, the bumps can lower insurance premiums for lot owners. These speed bumps offer a warranty of three years on the main speed bump, with one year on the reflective tape (under normal use).
These speed bumps can be installed on concrete or asphalt surfaces. Each speed bump has pre-drilled holes for easy installations. Hardware is available for concrete or asphalt installation.
End caps can also be purchased to provide protection for the speed bumps from excessive wear and tear, and are required by warranty policy of the Easy Rider speed bumps.
